1. Identification of the responsible party (LSSI Art. 10)
In accordance with Spanish Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce (LSSI):

- Tax identification (NIF): available upon reasoned request at the contact email indicated in section 16, or before any competent authority that requires it.

2. Acceptance
Accessing the AppsDom site (app.apisdom.com), as well as installing, activating or using any of the extensions, apps or tools published by ApisDom (hereinafter, the Products), implies full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access the site nor install or use the Products.
3. Service description
These Terms govern the use of:
- The AppsDom website (app.apisdom.com), the official hub for ApisDom extensions and apps.
- The ApisVoice extension (voice dictation for Chromium-based browsers).
- The Brújula Security extension (real-time crypto phishing detection).
- Any future extension, app, tool or service published by ApisDom under the same umbrella, unless that product expressly declares its own specific terms.
Each Product has its own presentation page on this site detailing its features, permissions and limitations.
4. Cost and model
Products are free at the moment of publication. They do not include ads, in-app purchases or paid accounts. If a Pro version, subscription or any other paid model exists for any Product in the future, its terms would be published in these Terms or in product-specific terms before entering into force.
5. User account
The Products published at launch do not require a user account, signup, email or any kind of credential. The user interacts with the Products anonymously from their browser.
6. Acceptable use
The use of the Products and the site is intended for lawful purposes and in accordance with good faith. The following is expressly prohibited:
- Using the Products or the site for harassment, fraud, identity impersonation, malware distribution or any illegal activity harmful to third parties.
- Modifying the Products to incorporate unauthorized behavior, hidden instrumentation, covert telemetry or malicious code.
- Redistributing the Products, modified or not, outside the official ApisDom channels (official Chrome Web Store or this site) without express written authorization.
- Removing, hiding or altering copyright notices, trademarks or other distinctive signs present in the Products.
- Performing reverse engineering for purposes not permitted by applicable law. According to Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 (Spanish Intellectual Property Law) and CJEU case law, reverse engineering is permitted only for the limited purposes of error correction under Art. 100.5 LPI and to ensure interoperability with other programs under Art. 100.7 LPI.
7. Intellectual property
Pursuant to Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 approving the consolidated text of the Spanish Intellectual Property Law, ApisDom is the holder of all exploitation rights over the source code, object code, interfaces, designs, logos, icons, trade names and other distinctive signs associated with the Products and the AppsDom site. The names and trademarks ApisDom, AppsDom, ApisVoice and Brújula Security are property of ApisDom or their respective owners.
Use of the Products by the user does not imply any transfer or assignment of rights. Any reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or commercial exploitation, total or partial, of the Products requires express prior written authorization from ApisDom.
Text dictated, written or processed by the user through the Products remains the user property. ApisDom does not claim, store or process such content on its servers.
8. Liability limitation and warranties
The Products are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without any express or implied warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ApisDom expressly disclaims:
- Any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, satisfactory quality or non-infringement of third-party rights.
- Any warranty that the Products are free of errors, interruptions or vulnerabilities, or that their results are accurate, complete or reliable.
- Any warranty of continued availability or future compatibility with browsers, operating systems or third-party APIs.
In particular, ApisDom is not responsible for:
- Transcription, translation or speech recognition errors, which depend on browser APIs and underlying providers (for example, Google for the Web Speech API on Chrome).
- False positives or false negatives in Brújula Security alerts or in any other present or future detection tool.
- Loss of data, loss of profits, consequential damages or lost revenue derived from the use or impossibility of use of the Products.
- Interruptions caused by the browser, operating system, internet connection or third-party services.
- Decisions made by the user based on automatic warnings generated by the Products.
Quantitative cap: in any case, ApisDom maximum liability towards the user for any claim derived from the Products shall not exceed the amount actually paid by the user for the Product in the twelve (12) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim. For free Products, that amount is zero (0) euros.
The user is responsible for reviewing and validating the result generated by the Products before using it, especially in professional, financial, legal or sensitive contexts.
The above exclusions and limitations shall not apply to damages caused by ApisDom willful misconduct or gross negligence, nor to consumer rights that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
9. Changes to these terms
ApisDom reserves the right to modify these Terms. Any modification will be published on this same page by updating the date and version. Substantive modifications will be notified visibly with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Products after the modifications take effect implies acceptance thereof.
10. Discontinuation
ApisDom may stop maintaining a Product or remove it from stores at any time, without need for justification. As far as possible, such removal will be announced with reasonable advance notice and the user will be offered the possibility of exporting their local preferences before the removal date.
11. Privacy
Data processing is governed by the Privacy policy published on this site. That policy is an integral part of these Terms and applies jointly with them.
12. No commercial use, scraping or AI training
Unless expressly and previously authorized in writing by ApisDom, the following is expressly prohibited:
- Total or partial commercial use of the code, textual content, images, logos or any other element of the site or the Products.
- Scraping or automated mass extraction of the site content.
- Automated indexing for purposes other than those typical of general search engines that respect
robots.txt. - Use of the code, content or any data of the site or the Products for the training, fine-tuning, evaluation or any other purpose related to generative artificial intelligence systems, language models or similar systems, without express authorization.
- Incorporation of the code or fragments of the code of the Products into derivative works or competing products.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is declared null, invalid or unenforceable by a competent court, such declaration shall affect only the specific provision and shall not compromise the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions, which shall continue in full force and effect.
14. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy policy and, where applicable, the specific terms of each Product, constitute the entire agreement between the user and ApisDom regarding the use of the site and the Products. They supersede any prior agreement, oral or written, on the same subject matter.
15. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Spanish law, in particular by Royal Legislative Decree 1/1996 (Intellectual Property Law), Law 34/2002 (LSSI) and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). Any conflict derived from the interpretation or application of these Terms will be resolved before the competent courts at the controller domicile, without prejudice to the jurisdiction that may correspond to the consumer by application of mandatory legislation.
